Founded by female entrepreneur Chantell Simone Graham, Ebony Inspired UK launched on Wednesday 21st March 2012 at a brand new venue in South London and attracted over 50 Black Entrepreneurs from a multitude of different industries!

Ebony Inspired UK - A Black Entrepreneurs Network is founded by female entrepreneur and all round "Bosslady" Chantell Simone Graham and was launched on Wednesday 21st March 2012.
Chantell is a freelance Makeup Artist and Beauty Therapist and has been running her business CSG Makeup & Beauty since 2005 (www.csgmakeupandbeauty.co.uk). Since 2007 Chantell has been the Project Manager for Black 100+, an award winning photographic exhibition of Black achievers in modern Britain (www.black100plus.co.uk). Since 2012 Chantell has been the new group leader for Chelsea Ladies Who Latte. A free monthly networking event for women held in the heart of Sloane Square (www.chelsealadieswholatte.weebly.com)
After networking on a weekly basis for a period of at least 6-9 months, Chantell found that there were very few regular networking events run by Black professionals or that were aimed at Black professionals. And it feeling concerned by this came the drive to create Ebony Inspired UK.
Chantell is passionate about the development of the Black community in the UK, particularly in the areas of business, enterprise and entrepreneurialism.
Chantell is a guest speaker at various events where she talks about her various different job roles and how she set up Ebony Inspired UK with no capital!

I am pleased to announce that Dr Yana Johnson MBE will be our special guest speaker at the November event, she will also be sharing her knowledge of how she started her brand to fill a gap in the market and how she has gone on to grow her business on the evening.! Yana launched Yana Cosmetics in 2002 – and it has gone on to become an award winning make up brand. It remains the only British independent premium make up brand that caters to the ethnic market, which started by specialising in custom blended foundations for black women and has now developed into a full range of make up that is suitable for ALL skin types. Yana Cosmetics was the first independent makeup brand in Morleys’ and Allders’ department stores. It was also the first independent cosmetic brand wholly owned by a black woman in the UK.
Many of her customers have remained loyal as the brand moved online and began to distribute and cater for the international market.
I have been booked as a guest speaker at the monthly Creative Entrepreneurs networking event hosted by Kemi Farquharson on launching Tuesday 30th October 2012 and held on the last Tuesday of each month. Join us for an intimate evening of inspirational success stories and networking for creative entrepreneurs and creative professionals. The evening will commence with a formal presentation by Kemi Farquharson followed by an introduction of two featured creative businesses or services and then the floor will be open for networking with the diverse mix of attendees.
Get inspired and create new collaborations whilst listening to light music and indulging in a cocktail.
